Meal Account bills went to the post office today! Thank you to those of you who paid on accounts since return after break, there are however some that are seriously delinquent and those students will be placed on the "No Charge Policy" list as of Tuesday and will unfortunately be served an alternative sack lunch and not the hot meal if bills are not paid. This is not something we want to do as we know it is not the fault of the student but it is mandated by USDA for schools. Remember you can look on your parent or student login for a balance, call the school to ask balance due or just pay on bill 1 time a month. Bills are mailed out monthly and can be paid in the office by check or cash only. When you get the bill in the mail and the amount due is highlighted that means your child(ren) meal account is overdue and you need to send money ASAP. Please make sure to take care od the "Bill" by Tuesday this will be the last alert before action is put in place.
Asher Public Schools has two Paraprofessional positions open. Requirements for this position include High School diploma, Paraprofessional certification or willing to become certified, CPR Certification (optional), must be willing to work with special needs students. Parents/students as we are getting into the full swing of things for a new school year we would like to ask that you go over the Student Handbook with your student(s) to make sure they are following policy. We are having issues with the Dress Code and would appreciate help with this by making sure your child(ren) are following the rule. Students who repeatadly choose not to follow policy will be sent home. Please find the Dress Code policy located in the Student Handbook. Students and parents were required to sign this at enrollment stating they read and understand contents of handbook. Any concerns can be discussed with either of the Principals. Thank you for your help and understanding.
